Concerts Without Borders presents Music Fit for a Queen 

CONCERTS WITHOUT BORDERS presented MUSIC FIT FOR A QUEEN starring a brilliant cast of 4 women and a junior diva. The queen being honored was Catherine Cornaro the last Queen of Cyprus who was forced to abdicate. The night was a wonderful success.


Oklahoma Queen Takes Throne at Palace Istanbul by Storm

Demetra George, a Grammy List Nominee and former Miss Oklahoma (Deborah Giannopoulos Mustafoglu) will hold court at Topkapi Palace’s fundraising event May 24th in Istanbul, Turkey. George will step onto her throne in concert for Topkapi Palace decreeing a night of Andrew Lloyd Webber selections from Phantom, Cats and Evita. The Who’s Who of Istanbul will hold court at the famed Hotel Les Ottomans on the Bosphorus for this unforgettable night. The event is black tie and by private invitation only. George draws critical acclaim and standing ovations wherever she travels. Recently it was in concert at Istanbul’s Suleyman Demirel Culture Center, at the Karmi Music Foundation and at state birthday celebrations for N Cyprus.


Superb Soprano’s Voice Lifts Symphony Concert

Beach Cities Symphony, under the direction of maestro Barry Brisk and accompanied by the powerful vocals of soprano Demetra George, gave an entertaining concert Friday night at the Marsee Auditorium on the El Camino College campus.
